Marketing plan

Analysis and positioning

To create an effective marketing plan, you typically follow 7 to 9 steps that begin with analysis and end with execution and evaluation.

Start with a business analysis and a SWOT analysis to map out your internal strengths and weaknesses. Add an external analysis by researching your competition, market trends, and target audience (often via customer personas).

Strategy and goals

Formulate clear, SMART marketing objectives (Specific, Measurable, Acceptable, Realistic, Time-bound) and determine your positioning. Establish your marketing mix (the 4 Ps: Product, Price, Place, Promotion) and your marketing strategy to achieve your goals.

Implementation and evaluation

Calculate the required marketing budget based on your goals and create a concrete action plan with a schedule and tasks. Implement the plans and continuously evaluate your results to optimize your strategy in a timely manner.
